Canceling Aid for Non-response


Inform students of deadline for accepting/declining awarded aid.

Applies to: 

KU students

Policy Statement: 

Students have 30 days to accept/decline awarded aid. At the end of 30 days, Financial Aid and Scholarships (FAS) will cancel offered aid and send a courtesy email indicating aid cancellation. To request reinstatement of aid, a student must submit a written request to FAS.

Exclusions or Special Circumstances: 

To request reinstatement of aid, a student must submit a written request to FAS.
