05/12/2016: This policy was developed by a bi-campus committee between KU-Lawrence and the University of Kansas Medical Center. It has been vetted by the Faculty Assembly Research Committee (FARC) and the Compliance Committee on the KU Medical Center campus. The policy was posted for review on the Faculty Assembly website for a two-month period and was approved by the Faculty Assembly Steering Committee.
