KUMC Policy on TB Screening for Non-Degree Seeking Students

Policy
Purpose: 

This policy presents state regulations and mandatory process for the evaluation of tuberculosis.

This policy will impact the health and safety concerns for students and maintain patient safety.

Applies to: 

Students on the KUMC Campus only

Campus: 
Medical Center, Kansas City
Policy Statement: 

Non-degree seeking students enrolled at KUMC are required to complete yearly tuberculosis screening.  This requirement may be waived for online students.  Please see KUMC Tuberculosis Screening Policy.

Non-degree seeking students are not required to submit additional health information. 

Consequences: 

Failure to comply with policies may affect academic standing.
